Elegant and Minimalist Wedding at The Forest and Stream Club

Adelina and Dan contacted me last year to document their summer wedding at the Forest and Stream Club in Dorval. When Adelina first emailed me and mentioned that a previous friend in common from university recommended me to her, I knew right away that we will get along. I am blessed with amazing clients all the time (knock on wood!) but when they are referred by a common friend, I know that we are off to a good start :)

At our initial meeting, when I learned that the wedding will take place at The Forest and Steam Club, I got even more excited for it since this venue has been on my bucket list of venues i want to shoot at. The building itself is gorgeous with awesome decor that can be beautifully incorporated at the getting ready photos. And the big bonus; it has a gorgeous waterfront backyard.

Ottawa & Toronto 3 Days Pakistani Wedding

The first ever wedding I shot was a Pakistani wedding and to this day, Pakistani weddings hold a special place in my heart !

I Love  every aspect of Desi weddings; colorful bangles, beaded Lehengas (Bridal outfit/dress) , gorgeous smokey makeup, Unique Baraat (groom entrance) , emotional Rukhsati (bride saying goodbye to her family), playful Joota Chupai (shoe stealing game) and unique diverse entertainment performances ! It is so hard from me to stop myself from dancing whenever I shoot Desi weddings :)
