New York City Fall Engagement Photo shoot with Manhattan Skyline View at Long Island Gantry Plaza - Clare & Sean

Sean is originally from Montreal and Clare from New York City. They met during their studies at Mcgill University and later decided to move to NYC together where they live today, despite planning their wedding in Montreal, they wanted their engagement photos to reflect the city in which their love grew and flourished.

We choose Long Island Gantry Plaza State Park for its magnificent view on the Manhattan skyline and the gorgeous sunset light it offers. We scheduled this Fall photoshoot in November in hopes of catching some fall colours, but it was way too cold, and the leaves had already fallen but we still had gorgeous views of New York City skyline as their shoot backdrop.

Gantry Plaza is usually crowded especially during sunset, but we got lucky that it was a bit cold and many people avoided the outdoors, so we had the plaza almost all to ourselves. Clare and Sean braved the cold as we walked along the east river enjoying the gorgeous skyline of Manhattan East side.

Since Clare ad Sean booked me for their wedding before we met, their engagement shoot in NYC gave me the opportunity to get to know them in person and got me even more excited to shoot their wedding. They were simply the cutest together and trusted me to guide them through the poses. I will let the photos now speak to how amazing this photoshoot was.
