Colorful Fall Engagement Photos at Ottawa Byward Market

Colorful Fall Engagement Photos at Ottawa Byward Market - Ottawa Engagement Photographer

You know when people say “the world works in mysterious ways”. The story of how I met Aly and Nisara is exactly that. I was shooting this wedding at Canadian Museum of History when they were doing their venue visit and we ended up chatting for few minutes and exchanged information. They ended up booking a different venue, but they kept my contact. We scheduled a meeting and felt like we have known each other for years and I couldn’t be happier to photograph their wedding next year. Since The Canadian Museum of History didn’t end up being their wedding venue, we still went there for part 2 of their engagement shoot which you can see here.

Meanwhile, here are the photos of their amazing fall engagement photoshoot. We scheduled it to coincide with the peak of fall colours and chose different locations to capture different feels of the city of Ottawa. We started with the Ottawa downtown and Byward Market area which you will see here. The colours along the Rideau canal and Major’s Hill park were just popping with all the shades of yellows, reds and oranges. We couldn’t have asked for a more colourful fall engagement session. After the Ottawa downtown and Byward Market, we headed to the Canadian Museum of History for nice waterfront engagement photos and wrapped up the day at Maple Island with a champagne toast and the most colourful backdrop to celebrate the end of this fall engagement photoshoot.

Nisara coordinated different outfits for every location of their engagement photos in Ottawa and I couldn’t’ have been happier of how well these fall outfits worked out with the fall colors.
