Freshta and Din live in New York City and when it came time to schedule their engagement photos, we wanted to feature iconic NYC views including Manhattan Skyline and Brooklyn bridge. We chose to divide the engagement shoot over two days; a sunset shoot at Gantry Plaza Park in Long Island City with gorgeous downtown Manhattan views and a sunrise shoot at Dumbo and Brooklyn bridge.
When you think of NYC engagement photos locations, your first instinct might be to take photos in central park , Broadway or times square bit these places are in the middle of the chaos and bustling with tourists so to get the best view of Manhattan and NYC , we crossed the east river to the opposite side namely Long Island City. The Gantry Plaza Park has one of the best viewpoints overlooking downtown New York City and Manhattan and the best part, it is much less crowded, so you do get beautiful engagement photos in NYC without the crowd.
Freshta and Din chose two very elegant outfit that scream NYC and paired them with a beautiful blush tones floral bouquet that added a beautiful romantic touch to their photos. They also were such naturals in front of the camera, responding to my cues and giving me the most candid interactions and genuine smiles and laughs.
